Directions for use

Please read all instructions and FAQs carefully before beginning your grooming. Use the FURminator® Curry Comb only as directed.

STEP 1

To groom your pet, find a calm time and location to sit down with your pet. Before using the tool, remove tangles or mats with FURminator® Adjustable deMatter Tool or Grooming Rake.

STEP 2

Gently stroke across the pet’s coat in the direction of hair growth. Start from your pet’s head and work your way back, using extra care near stomach, legs, genitals and anus. Avoid making excessive strokes in a single area, as this may cause irritation of your pet’s fur and skin.

STEP 2

Grooming is a good time to perform a complete physical inspection of your pet. As you groom your pet, look for sores, bruises and skin conditions, which your pet’s coat may conceal. If your pet has any of these conditions, seek treatment from a veterinarian before resuming brushing.

CAN THE FURMINATOR® CURRY COMB BE USED ON ALL PETS?

The FURminator® Curry Comb may be used on most animals with fur. The comb has molded rubber teeth which are gentle enough to use on some pets with sensitive skin.

WHEN SHOULD I USE THE FURMINATOR® CURRY COMB?

Your pet can be groomed with FURminator® Curry Comb any time, on both wet and dry fur. It has a comfortable design with a hand strap that allows for easy handling even when wet. Use the tool frequently for a few minutes each session to massage pets’ skin. The molded rubber teeth massages pet’s skin to help distribute natural oils that promote coat health and shine.
