WHICH SIDE SHOULD I USE?
The boar’s hair bristle (soft bristle) side is an excellent all round brush that can be used on dogs with most coat types, removing debris or finishing the coat with a natural shine and smoothness. The metal bristle (hard bristle) side works well with long pet coats and best for detangling, removing debris and massaging the pet’s skin.
WHEN SHOULD I USE THE FURMINATOR® DUAL GROOMING BRUSH?
Your dog can be brushed any time, on both wet and dry fur. Brushing can be performed on its own or in conjunction with other products, such as FURminator® deShedding Waterless Spray or FURminator® deShedding Shampoo. Brushing is also an important step to perform before using a FURminator® deShedding tool on your pet to remove tangles and matted hair.
HOW OFTEN AND HOW LONG SHOULD I USE THE FURMINATOR® DUAL GROOMING BRUSH?
For best results, use the FURminator® Dual Grooming Brush daily for 5-10 minutes each session, though the actual time will vary depending on your dog’s breed, the condition of their coat, and the thickness of the dog’s individual coat. It may be necessary to use the dual sided brush tool more frequently during heavy shedding seasons or if the dog has excessive debris or tangles.
WHERE SHOULD I PERFORM THE GROOMING PROCESS?
Grooming your dog will loosen large amounts of loose hair and debris, so a location that is easy to clean, such as a tile floor indoors or an outdoor area, makes cleanup more convenient. Most importantly, always choose a location where your pet feels comfortable and safe.
