Directions for Use:
1. To brush your pet, find a quiet time and location to sit down with your pet for grooming.
2. Before using a FURminator® Professional Grooming Tool, perform a complete physical inspection of your pet. Look for sores, bruises and skin conditions, which may be concealed by the coat. If your pet has any of these conditions, seek treatment from a veterinarian before grooming.
3. When using the FURminator® Curry Comb, use short, smooth strokes in the direction of hair growth. Start with the head and work your way to the tail. Pay special attention to
the areas behind the ears and underneath the legs where matting is more likely to occur.
4. The FURminator® Curry Comb is gentle enough to use even on pets with sensitive skin to remove excess hair and debris and help keep your pet looking his best.

Your pet can be brushed any time, on both wet and dry fur. Brushing can be performed on its own or in conjunction with other products, such as the FURminator® Shampoo. Brushing is also an important step to perform before using a FURminator® deShedding Tool on your pet to reduce loose hair from shedding
For best results, use the FURminator® Curry Comb frequently for a few minutes each session, though the actual time will vary depending on your pet’s breed, the condition of their coat, and the thickness of the pet’s individual coat. It may be necessary to use the Curry Comb more frequently during heavy shedding seasons to keep tangles and matting under control.
