The FURminator® Slicker Brush Large is a professional quality brush for removing surface mats and detangling your pet's coat to make a nice, smooth glossy finish. Due to its large size it is ideal for medium and large sized dogs and cats. While being gentle on the skin, the two-sided Slicker Brush comes with stainless steel bristles in two variants. The curved pins help to remove stubborn tangles and snarls, but also removes dirt and loose hair without damaging the coat. Whereas the straigt pins make a nice, smooth and glossy finish- both sides work without scratching the skin. On top of that, the dual flex head design adapts seamlessly to the natural contours of your pet's head and body, ensuring a comfortable grooming experience. Directions for use:

1. Use with care in growing animals.

2. To brush your pet, find a quiet time and location to sit down with your pet for grooming.

3. Before using a FURminator® Professional Grooming Tool, perform a complete physical inspection of your pet. Look for sores, bruises and skin conditions, which may be concealed by the coat. If your pet has any of these conditions, seek treatment from a veterinarian before grooming.

4. Gently brush fur in an upward motion with the curved pins side of the FURminator® Slicker Brush to loosen or remove mats and snarls. Once you have completely brushed the entire coat of your pet, flip the brush over to the straight pins to make a nice, smooth glossy finish. Be extra gentle near the belly and chest. To brush the tail, make a part down the middle and brush the fur out on either side.

5. Be gentle around sensitive areas like the belly, haunches, tail and ears. Always work in the direction that the fur grows.
